  • Make sure you know the recipient you are sending e-transfers to
  • Ensure you have a security question and answer that only the recipient knows
  • Do not place the answer in the message box of the e-transfer
  • Inform the recipient through a different device than you are sending the e-transfer because devices can be compromised
