GoGreen 2024 took place Friday, September 13th in Swift Current, SK.

Since its inception in 2009, this initiative has contributed to the planting of more than 4,000 trees and shrubs in our community.

About GoGreen

GoGreen is an annual event held in Swift Current, SK with a goal to beautify our community and minimize our carbon footprint. GoGreen 2024 took place on Friday, September 13th in partnership with Stark & Marsh and the City of Swift Current.



You can volunteer!

GoGreen is open to public volunteers that help with a variety of projects. Examples include tree and shrub planting, landscaping, pathway clean up, flower bed maintenance, and mulching.

Last year’s GoGreen brought over 100 amazing volunteers together and we were able to plant a total of 791 trees and shrubs across 13 different project sites in our community.

GoGreen Community Lunch

You could join us for a $10 taco in a bag lunch from 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Market Square that day, with all proceeds going to the Swift Current SPCA. Thanks to our attendees who helped us donate $800!
