Innovation Credit Union urges members to bank digitally

Innovation Credit Union is taking a step forward in its effort to curb the new coronavirus strain from spreading. The health and well-being of their members is critical, which is why Innovation believes that it is of utmost importance to make banking accessible to their members from the safety of their homes. Innovation urges its members to take advantage of its digital channels and will be further enhancing their online and mobile banking on February 15th, 2022.

The Omicron variant has been spreading faster than we have experienced before. In such times, to make banking easily accessible, Innovation will ensure ease of logging in, added security, easier online transfers, and more such features through their new and updated app and website. The secure drop box located at the entrances of most advice centres/branches will be checked regularly by our staff. This will enable contactless banking and eliminate any member concerns of standing in long queues.

“The new variant of Corona is spreading fast, and in such times, it is crucial to keep safety and hygiene protocols at the forefront while accessing the services you need”, says Innovation Credit Union CEO, Daniel Johnson. “To play our part in stopping the virus from spreading, we are providing contactless banking through our user-friendly digital app and website. We always strive for you to be able to access all required banking services and urge you to use our digital services to stay safe and protected.”

Innovation recognizes that there might be a few members who prefer the comfort of visiting an advice centre/branch for their banking needs; but there is now a risk that they might not be able to do that in the current scenario. The physical advice centres/branches could see unplanned closures and hence, Innovation suggests all members use online banking services and practice safety guidelines until the current spread of the Omicron variant is mitigated.
