The Innovation La Loche advice centre/branch officially opened on October 21, 2024, at 4011 Fontaine Ave. The day’s festivities included an official ribbon cutting, cheque presentation to Ducharme Elementary School, and a complimentary lunch for all attendees.

“This is an exciting day for the community of La Loche and for Innovation Federal Credit Union,” says Innovation Board Chair, Russ Siemens. “Partnering with the community is what cooperative values are all about. Congratulations to all the leaders - past and present - who have made this possible. I encourage everyone in the community to open an account and become a member of your credit union.”

The advice centre offers the following features and services:

• Virtual and onsite access to helpful advisors

“For well over a decade, our community has been advocating to have a bank and now it’s finally becoming a reality,” says La Loche Friendship Centre President, Keith Shewchuk. “I’d like to say thank you to all our previous and current leaders who have contributed and helped to make this happen. This is exciting news, and I feel very optimistic for our future as we build relationships and move forward together as a community.”

The advice centre is open to serve members Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM (CST).
