How to Apply for an Innovation Community Grant

At Innovation, we’re more than just a group of people helping you with your banking needs. Credit cards, mortgages, loans, and no-fee bank accounts aside, we pride ourselves in being part of the communities we serve.

We believe that funding local projects can leave a long-lasting impact. Our community development grant program was initiated with a sole objective in mind - making a difference by improving the social, economic, cultural, and environmental state of the communities we serve.

Take Southwest Saskatchewan Pride – Drop-In Centre for example. It was an absolute honour to award them a grant, which was used to help furnish their new location. It is the hope of Southwest Saskatchewan Pride that the Drop-In Centre will be used for everything from a gathering place to an information centre. "The moment we officially formed our group, Southwest Saskatchewan Pride set a long-term goal of opening a Pride drop-in centre in our community. We dreamed of a gathering space that felt inclusive, welcoming, and safe; that would provide education and information to members and allies; that allowed youth and adults to be celebrated just as they are.” – Southwest Saskatchewan Pride. Supporting the development of the community is something Innovation Federal Credit Union takes very seriously.

The Innovation Federal Credit Union Community Grant Program is intended for one-time project-based proposals in which financial assistance is required to start something new or to assist with large purchases that are not normally possible.
