Calling all credit union members! Co-op week is around the corner, and you can expect all kinds of exciting events to enjoy!
Co-op Week is a time to reflect on the contributions co-operatives have made to Canadians. The theme this year is “Innovating the Co-operative Way” where we highlight the innovative ways co-operatives are supporting the communities they serve. We’re bringing together the entire Innovation team to make this the best Co-op Week yet! But we’ll also have some help from our wonderful community partners:

- Pioneer Co-op, Swift Current
Co-operative Week - October 13 to 19, 2024
Co-op Week will run from October 13th - 19th. The following is a list of all the amazing events you can expect from this year’s celebrations.
- Co-op Week Flag Raising: Tuesday, October 15th, 11 am at City Hall, Swift Current, SK. Join us as we raise the Co-op Week flag and kick off the week's festivities!
- Co-op Week BBQ – Meadow Lake: Tuesday, October 15th, 11 am to 1 pm at the Meadow Lake Co-op. Join us and Meadow Lake Co-op for a BBQ. Enjoy a burger and pop for $6 or a hot dog and pop for $5! Proceeds will go towards the Senior Citizens Centre.
- Credit Union Day: Thursday, October 17th. Let’s celebrate the achievements of credit unions and share all the wonderful memories we made along the way! This year’s theme is One World Through Co-operative Financing. The world may seem divided right now, but you always have a caring home here at Innovation!
- Join us for coffee and treats throughout the day at your nearest Innovation location.
- Our staff will be surprising people in their communities with Random Acts of Kindness to brighten their day.
- Co-op Week Community Supper – North Battleford: Thursday, October 17th, 5 pm to 7 pm at Discovery Co-op Cafeteria. Join us and Discovery Co-op for a Community Supper. Enjoy bratwurst, potato salad, cake, and coffee/pop for $7! Proceeds will go towards Battlefords District Food & Resource Centre.
- Co-op Week BBQ – Swift Current: Friday, October 18th, 11 am to 1:30 pm at Pioneer Co-op. Please join us and Pioneer Co-op for a BBQ. Enjoy a smokie, chips and pop for $5! Proceeds will go towards The Center.
